Emerging to life from the centre of Abu Dhabi, the Qasr Al Hosn Festival returns for the fourth year in 2016. Building on the rich, cultural activities from the last three years, the festival has evolved and now promises a more immersive experience than ever before.
Five entrances provide 360 degree views of the entire festival to help you absorb the host of activities on offer. From stepping into the Marine zone from the grand Cultural Foundation Building entrance to face the beautiful Dhow Boat floating on the water, to entering by Abu Dhabi Island to have the Fort unveil itself in front of your eyes, the site continuously reveals its wonders as you travel its different zones and discover the wide range of activities that await you there.
Our popular zones; Qasr Al Hosn, Desert, Oasis, Marine and Abu Dhabi Island are back, driven by a fully interactive experience within the traditional crafts. Grouped activities that complement each other and provide linked narratives draw you in to take part in their deep experiences.
Passing on the knowledge and traditions of the past has always been at the heart of the festival. In the same spirit, young Ambassadors who are present at the various activities will answer questions and help you participate in activities and learn skills first hand in an intimate and attractive environment.
The inclusion of authentically designed souks, located near activities relevant to their speciality, also allows you to take a piece of the festival away with you as lasting mementos of your festival experience.
