At the Festival Stage, live performances inspired by Emirati culture and heritage provide diverse entertainment for all the family. From animal shows and projection theatre to character dramas, this performance space is where moving stories are told to captivated audiences.
This year’s shows are:
The Sky Show - Featuring the Birds of Al Ain Zoo (5.15pm): Visitors can meet Maktub the Steppe Eagle, Najib the mischievous Kestrel and many other beautiful birds from Al Ain Zoo, as they entertain the crowds with breath-taking feats of speed and agility.
The Night Safari (6.45pm, 8.00pm): Visitors can join Rashid and Adam on a spectacular adventure as they journey into the desert at night and encounter the animals that live there on an unforgettable road trip. Starring Khalaf Al Ahbabi and the animals of Al Ain Zoo.
Bab Al Khair (9.30pm): Visitors can enjoy this popular social drama that focuses on life in Abu Dhabi in the 1960’s. Due to the immense popularity of this show last year, we are delighted to welcome it back to the Festival Stage with a new set and a entertaining new script. A new comedy from the writer of Habet Ramel.
